Sacred Rhythm: Walking the Balanced Path

A 2-Day Retreat Rooted in Ayurveda and Yoga

Join us for a peaceful two-day immersion in the nourishing practices of Ayurveda and yoga—designed to help you reconnect with your body’s wisdom, slow down, and feel more balanced this summer. Through accessible self-care, gentle movement, and mindful nourishment, you’ll gain practical tools to support your well-being long after the retreat ends.

Over the course of two afternoons, you’ll:

  • Learn the basics of Ayurveda, an ancient system of holistic wellness, including how different body-mind types (called doshas) respond to the seasons—and how to eat and care for yourself in ways that support balance in summer.

  • Explore simple daily self-care practices, such as gentle oil massage (abhyanga) and seasonal routines to support clarity, calm, and well-being.

  • Savor a comforting chai ritual, and reflect on how slowing down, sharing food, and resting in community can be sacred acts of nourishment.

  • Dive into the roots of yoga philosophy and meditation, and how they offer everyday tools for connection, resilience, and inner calm.

  • Practice gentle yoga, including breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation, and slow, mindful movement designed to cool the body, quiet the mind, and leave you feeling restored.

  • Explore the basics of yogic (sattvic) eating, and how thoughtful, seasonal food choices can support mental clarity, energy, and peace of mind.

  • Participate in a joyful closing celebration, featuring a lovingly prepared meal, community sharing, music, poetry, and reflection to honor your weekend experience.

No prior experience with yoga or Ayurveda is needed—just a willingness to slow down, listen inward, and be in community.

Your Registration Includes:

  • Full weekend retreat programming

  • Two days of Ayurvedic and yoga-based teachings and practices

  • Handouts and reflective materials to support continued learning

  • Ayurvedic snacks (Saturday & Sunday) and a closing seasonal meal on Sunday

Step into a weekend of replenishment, rooted in ancient wisdom and guided by the natural cycles of summer.

NOTE: Please bring your own yoga mat, water bottle, and wear comfy clothes.*
